With space for 1,600 guests and located right next to Amsterdam Central Station, Hannekes Boom is one of the city’s true hotspots. From warm summer evenings to lively drinks and parties, everything comes together here in a fun and creative atmosphere.
As our sous chef, you’ll be the chef’s right-hand person and regularly take the lead in the kitchen. You’ll coach, inspire and motivate the team, maintain high quality standards and help create a positive working environment. During the busy summer months, you’ll keep a clear overview and make sure our guests are served quickly and to a high standard.
What we offer
- A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €4,000, depending on experience

Who you are
- Based in or around Amsterdam
- Quality-focused, able to perform well under pressure and a strong communicator
- Familiar with HACCP and SVH-certified (or willing to obtain the certification)
- Flexible and a true team player
